This study investigates the factors influencing the intention to develop an entrepreneurial mindset among women in Uzbekistan. Despite high levels of skill and creativity, many Uzbek women remain risk-averse and economically dependent on men, which reduces their autonomy in decision-making and entrepreneurial participation. By identifying the socio-cultural, psychological, and educational factors that shape women’s entrepreneurial intentions, the study seeks to understand how empowerment mechanisms can be adapted to the Uzbek environment. A structured survey, adjusted to reflect local norms and linguistic nuances, was administered to 300 female respondents from Tashkent, Bukhara, and Namangan. The research examines the relationship between financial independence, risk tolerance, self-efficacy, and exposure to entrepreneurial education as predictors of entrepreneurial intention. The findings aim to provide insights into how national programs and policy interventions can strengthen female entrepreneurship as a driver of inclusive economic growth. This research aligns with SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by emphasizing the need for targeted capacity building, financial inclusion, and gender-sensitive entrepreneurship policies in Uzbekistan.
